Bazaruto Renewables is dedicated and committed to applying world-class standards in environmental and social principles and procedures when developing and implementing renewable energy projects.
Bazaruto develops its renewable energy projects in compliance with:
- Host country regulation;
- International Finance Corporation (IFC) Performance Standards (PS);
- World Bank (WB) Environmental, Health & Safety Guidelines (EHSG);
- Good International Industry Practice (GIIP).
At Bazaruto, we conduct assessments of environmental and social impacts and risks associated with each potential renewable energy project we are developing. All of our projects are categorized according to their anticipated environmental and social risk, in order to determine mitigation measures.
This assessment is fully integrated into our project development process.
Bazaruto Renewables is committed to carrying out business fairly, honestly and openly, where we operate a zero-tolerance approach towards bribery, business crime, and other unethical business conduct.
We encourage affected stakeholders involved in the project development of any of our projects to use the grievance channels we have established to report cases of misconduct.
Bazaruto has appointed Raoul I. Ilahibaks, Founder & Director, in charge of handling any complaints.
